Sesmarias - Villa

Fantastic location for high quality restaurants and supermarkets if you know where to find them. As we’ve been to the area many times it was easy for us but If you are not familiar then you have to visit Dom Dinis, Jompra and O’Marinheiro. There is a small mini market within strolling distancefor a bigger shop, there is a Spar and an Oceano nearby (taxi needed). Our daughter needs gluten free food so the more expensive Apolonia supermarket was in walking distance and has a great range of GF foods although a big shop will need a taxi return which the store will happily arrange for you. There is even a GF restaurant called The Brasserie about 5 mins walk away from the villa, not all of their menu is GF but the vast majority is and for non GF people, you wouldn’t even know as everything is delicious. We are not beach people so the heated pool, given we were there in September, was a luxury well worth paying for. Villa booking process and management while we were there was second to none. Will definitely be looking to book this villa again.

Stayed in Villa Toad Hall during the May half term (UK). Weather was great and so was the villa. Pool was excellent for the kids. We had no rental car but just about managed with walking to the various beaches and shops around the area. Only downside was having to pay extra £195/w for the pool to be heated.

This is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in while in Portugal. Location, accommodation, facilities, I will definitely be coming back and I have enjoyed it so much I have passed on the details to my family in America as well as the uk. Clean heated pool private quiet area could not ask for a more peaceful accommodation"
